John played to an appreciative crowd. Best known for writing, "Gentle on My Mind", John was a marvelous banjo player, fiddler, and singer. Though not feeling well at the time, John was the true performer who shone when he got on stage, and with his three back up musicians, entertained about 500 folks in the audience to a standing ovation. We feel privileged to have had him perform in Cambridge, and he shall be missed.!
